Judith "Judy" Mae Wilkerson

Judith (Judy) Mae Wilkerson, 83, of Henderson, passed away July 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, under the compassionate care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

She was born on December 29, 1941, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Rod and Pauline Clary.

Born with a loving heart, Judy lived a life full of love, faith, and empathy for others. Raised in Henderson, Kentucky. Judy attended and graduated from Holy Name School and was a lifetime member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Judy's faith was a guiding light in all she did. She found joy in cooking, making the holidays perfect for her family, and cheering on the University of KY basketball teams. Judy loved working with children and was the director of Mother's Day Out at First Christian Church and Holy Name Church. Most of all, she loved the time spent with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life and lovingly called her "Mammy".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wilkerson, and grandson, Brennon Wilkerson.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Clary (Phil Rhoads), Ann Gish (Rick), Joyce Haus (Ralph); sons, Rod (Ashley), Randy, Richie (Christy), Robbie (Angela) ; daughter, Jennifer Daniel (Michael), grandchildren, Josh, Isaac, Sara, Amber, Shelby, Cody, Addison, Neal, Cameron, Alex; great-grandchildren, Mattie, Cooper, Rylan, Riley, Zoey, Lyla, Searcy, Braidyn, Korbyn, Torryn, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 5 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Visitation will also be held on Monday, July 28th, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson with Father Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will be in St Louis Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
